Madam Gomez added that Vital Nursery in the academic year 2012/2013 had an enrolment of 34 pupils in the three grades, namely nursery one, two and three.

The year 2013/2014, the nursery registered 49 pupils and the Lower Basic registered 81 pupils, she said, adding that this year the school registered 101 pupils in the Lower Basic, which shows that the school is growing gradually; nonetheless they need more pupils to meet the class target.

According to headmistress Gomez, the school has seen massive development thanks to the cooperation and dedication of hardworking staff.

To them she said a “big thank you” and to the ancillary staff she said “thank you” for the upkeep of the classes, toilets and school environment.

“In the area of development, we enjoin all and sundry to help in the development of the school through sponsorship as we desperately need some facilities like a room to house the computers, library or a resource room for the pupils and staff,” she said.

The pupils of Grade six are the ambassadors who would sell the good name of the school by endeavouring to show dedication, discipline and hard work at all times as it is very vital in their new environment hence she hopes they would always maintain the momentum, she stated.
