A man was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court before magistrate Babucarr Secka charged with obtaining money by false pretence.
Ensa Jassey pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail of D15,000 with a Gambian surety.
The charge sheet revealed that, the accused, Ensa Jassey, in March and April 2010 at Tanji village, Kombo South, West Coast Region, with intent to defraud, obtained D13,000 from one Lamin Joof under the pretext of providing him with a visa and an air ticket.
The case was adjourned till 20 December 2010.
