Veteran player patronizes Gambia Volleyball Association

Batch Samba Nyass, a veteran volleyball player for Titans Volleyball team of Bakau, who is currently residing in Hulteu Erkavolth, Germany, recently donated six trophies to the Gambia Volleyball Association.

The donation was Batch Samba Nyass’s contribution towards promoting the development of volleyball in the country.

The president of the Gambia Volleyball Association (GVBA), Musa Cassa Taal, said Batch Samba Nyass is still maintaining the name Titans Volleyball team of Bakau, adding that the gesture supplement the efforts of the association.

President Taal applauded Batch Samba Nyass for his wonderful gesture, saying the donation was timely as the2014 National Volleyball League and the knockout competition are about to wrap up.

The GVBA prexy assured Batch Samba Nyass that the donated trophies will be put into good use.

Taal seized the opportunity to call on other veteran volleyball players to emulate Batch Samba Nyass of Titans Volleyball team in his strides to give significant assistance to the GVBA.
