The broadcasting without licence case involving one Lasanna Jobarteh, a UDP militant, who was supposed to open his defence yesterday before Principal Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, could not open his defence.
The case was adjourned on the grounds that the defence counsel, Ousainou Darboe, was reported to be engaged at the Gambia Court of Appeal.
The case was then adjourned till 19 May2014, for the accused to open his defence.
