Tijan Jawo
and Sarjo Bah, both employees of Uncle Sam Security, and one Kalipha Jallow, an
employee of Comfort Natural Mineral Water, were on Friday 31stOctober 2008 arraigned before Magistrate Sainabou
Wadda- Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court for stealing.
According to the charge sheet, the accused persons on October 2008 jointly stole eight bundles of aluminium profile valued at D332, 000, being the property of Comfort Natural Mineral Water Company.
Kalipha Jallow and Sarjo Bah pleaded guilty, while Tijan Jawo pleaded not guilty. Prosecutor 870 Touray, who represented the Inspector General of Police, applied to the court not to grant the accused persons bail, saying that investigations were still ongoing.
