Mr
Ibrahima Salla has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Trust Bank
Ltd with effect from 1st July 2016. Mr Salla succeeds Mr Pa Macoumba Njie
following Mr Njie’s retirement.
Mr
Njie will however remain with the Bank both as a Non-Executive Director and a
Special Adviser.
Mr
Salla, the incoming Managing Director is an experienced executive who has held
senior positions within the Bank since its inception in 1997. He comes with a
banking career spanning over 22 years with vast experience in retail and
corporate banking.
Prior
to his appointment as Managing Director, Mr Salla served the Bank in the
capacity of General Manager of the Corporate Department.
Mrs
Njilan Senghore-Njie is the incoming Deputy Managing Director. She comes with 8
years of experience in auditing and 9 years in banking and has served the Bank
in the capacity of General Manager of Finance and Administration since she
joined in 2007.
Commenting
on the appointments, the outgoing Managing Director, Mr Njie commented that
both Mr Salla and Mrs Senghore-Njie have
served the Bank with distinction over many years and that the Board’s decision
is a reflection of their commitment, hard work and the confidence that the
experience they have garnered over the years will stand the Bank in good stead.
