Trio In Court For Alleged Multiple Offences

Daniel Sanyang, Kataba Manneh and Calbur Zega, Guinea-Bissau nationals were recently appeared before Principal Magistrate Emmanuel A. Amadi of the Brikama Magistrates' Court, for stealing and wilful damage to property.

According to the particulars offence on count one, Daniel Sanyang, Kataba Manneh and Clabur Zega, on 26th September 2009, at Madina Salam Village, stole 4 solar panels, valued at D28, 000, being the property of one Momodou Ceesay.

Count two reads, the accused persons, in the same village wilfully and unlawfully damaged solar panels, valued at D12, 000, being the property of the said Momodou Ceesay.

While the particulars of offence on count three read, the accused persons on 26th September 2009, at Madina Salam, conspired to commit felony to wit stealing.

They were granted court bail in the sum of D3, 000 each with one Gambian.
