Speaking at the presentation, Mr Mohammed Lamin Kabirr Faye, retail and network representative for Total Gambia Limited Company, applauded his management and staff for having the foresight to be organizing such a “wonderful annual Tobaski promotion” for their customers, who are very instrumental in the raffle draw promotion.
Faye also thanked their valuable customers for patronizing them in the Tobaski raffle draw.
Without their customers, he noted, the promotion would not have been possible.
Mr Faye said further that Total Gambia Limited has been in The Gambia for the past twenty years dealing in world class quality products including gas oil.
“We are happy to organize this annual Tobaski raffle draw for our customers and thank them for their positive response to our raffle draw promotion for 2015,” he added.
According to Mr Faye, the raffle was a promotional campaign to allow their customers to feel the mood of the Tobaski.
The company offered a discount of D1.00 on each litre of gas oil that was bought, and if a customer could buy up to D300.00 worth of fuel or above, they would automatically qualify for the raffle draw with a ticket which could earn them a ram if they were lucky to win the draw.
Mr Faye said last Wednesday was the deadline for the draw, which “was very successful and transparent”.
There were ten lucky customers who won during the final draw, he said, adding that they came from various areas such as Brikama petrol station, Tallinding petrol station, Saro petrol station, and Banjul petrol station.
All the winners went home with a ram and with joy and appreciation for the surprised packages.
According to Mr Faye, Total Gambia Limited is coming up gradually and in the next three months “the company will come up with new initiatives”.
“We have been here for the past twenty-five years and we have been doing such nature of promotion but now we are coming up very big,” Mr Faye stated, assuring the general public to expect more programmes of substance from Total Gambia Limited.
“We are here to assure the people that Total Gambia will continue to do this type of programmes with a difference.
For his part, Musa Conteh, officer in charge of Brikama town and Brikama junctionTotal Gambia Limited station, said the raffle drawwas not something new for Total Gambia because “we are doing this annually” for Tobaski.
“This is because Total Gambia Limited wants its customers to continue to buy its fuel, hence we are coming up with many activities, for our customers to win more good prizes through our product, which is the best fuel so far,” Mr Conteh said.
