Tobacco Road murder suspect arraigned

Dodou Secka, a resident of Banjul, who allegedly murdered one Jaja Cham, sometime in 2009 at Tobacco Road in Banjul, was on Tuesday arraigned before Justice Ikpala of the special criminal court in Banjul charged with murder.

According to the charge sheet, sometime in August 2009, at Tobacco Road in Banjul, the accused, Dodou Secka, allegedly murdered one Jaja Cham by stabbing him with a knife.

He vehemently denied the charge preferred against him, and was subsequently remanded in custody.

The case was adjourned to 1st November 2010 for continuation.
