The Director of Traditional Medicine and Homecare Foundation, who also doubles as the Imam of Ghana Town Mosque, Dr Al-Hassan Bin Abukarr, has commended the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Mrs. Maiatou Jallow, and those who have attended the launching of their strategic plan project, a week ago.
He revealed that his foundation would do everything possible to promote and develop the treatment of herbal medicine in the country.
According to him, plans were in the offing to establish a school of traditional medicine. He seized the opportunity to call on donors, individuals, philanthropists and government to give them a helping hand. As he put it, such requires huge financial commitment.
He expressed confident that things would turn out well, if they have necessary funding to kick-off the project.
He also thanked President Jammeh and Momodou Gassama of the World Health Organisation (WHO) for their valuable contributions to the success of the project.
