Mrs
Tina Faal, former nominated member of the National Assembly, now member of the
newly formed party - Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) - is to appear in court
today.
She
first appeared at the Banjul Magistrate’s Court on Thursday before principal
magistrate Omar Cham.
She
is charged with conspiracy, obtaining goods by false pretence, and theft,
charges she had denied.
She
was granted bail of D500,000 with two Gambian sureties who must have title
deeds in Greater Banjul.
Mrs
Faal had also been asked to surrender her travel documents.
The
case resumes today 1st August 2016.
