The Super Nawettan Organising Committee has lifted
the ban earlier on imposed on Brikama for “their misconduct” during the team’s
2015 Super Nawettan match against Banjul.
Brikama was then banned for three years with a fine of D20,000, and Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium, the venue of the said game, was also banned from hosting all Super Nawettan matches until further notice.
The Super Nawettan organizing committee has now decided to lift the ban imposed on Brikama paving the way for the Sateyba boys to take part in the 2016 Super Nawettan.
