Tazman needs no introduction in today's
Tijan Jabang, alias Tazman, is no doubt a precocious talent. Entertainment was also privileged to have a chart with him, during which he revealed that his would-be released album, entitled: "More Encouragement" is self-sponsored.
The album, an outcome of some years' strive, will soon hit the shelves of recording studios countrywide.
The album, which contained 21 tracks, will be both in cassette and CD format.
"At the moment, I have two internatonal labels that are already interested in distributing my album," he said.
Explaining that he'd also created a record label, which aims to promote and distribute music and musician within the sub-region, he called on investors like companies to work with him in terms of promoting their businesses
Dilating on promoting musicians within the sub-region, The Gambian Tazman lamented that the supporting of Gambian musicians is not forthcoming, compared to other foreign musicians.
He called on companies and other organisations in the country to work with Gambian musicians instead of bringing foreign artists. He maintained that there is no need of education in music, but music is all about concentration and aspiration. He therefore called on the music promoters in the country to change their attitudes and try to do their job professionally.
