Gunjur FC will rub shoulders with Sifoe FC in the all-Kombo South derby final of the ongoing West Coast Region third division qualifiers slated for Sunday 8 January 2012, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini-stadium.
Sifoe FC finished top spot in group B with maximum 6 points in two games after beatiing Brufut FC and Foni Kansala FC 2-1 and 1-0 respectively to earn a place in the semifinal.
Sifoe FC progressed to the final following their 5-4 post-match penalty shootout win over Immigration after a goalless in the regulation time in the semifinal clash played at the Late Sanna Jatta Memorial Football Field in Lamin.
Gunjur finished at the top of group C with 4 points in two outings following their hard-fought 1-0 victory over Farato FC and 2-2 draw against Banjulinding FC in their group C game that earned them a place in the semifinal.
Gunjur sailed to the final after beating Black & White FC of Berending 2-1 in the other semifinal courtesy of Bakary Sambou, aka Prince Kevin Boateng.
