Sukuta Nawettan In Progress

2009 Sukuta Nawettan is in progress at Sukuta Upper Basic School football field ground and last year's champions Manchester United last Sunday defeated Sanchaba United by two goals to zero.
During the 22ND minutes of the first half of the match Manchester United number 17, Lamin Cham registered his team's first goal through a header. At the time Sanchaba United had shown a first goal into their net, they fought hard to equalise Manchester United's lone goal in the first half, but it could not materialize, thus the first half ended 1-0 in favour of Manchester United. When the second 45 minutes of the match resumed, both teams displayed their talents but for Sanchaba United it was not their day of scoring a goal or victory.

Number 18 Amadou Cham came out with the second goal for Manchester United Boys in the 64th minutes through a long shoot outside from Sanchaba United's eighteen yards box. By the time the Central Referee blew the whistle for the end of the full match, it was 2-0 in favour of last year's champions Manchester United.     
As at last Sunday the five teams (Newtown, Paradise, Bantaba, FC Kadior and Sanchaba United) cannot make it to the end of the first round.
