Scorpions
forward, Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally has been awarded Arab Gulf League Player of
the Month for the month of December.
The
25-year-old who currently plays for Emirati side, Ajman Club from Saudi Arabian
side Al Shabab has been very instrumental and clinical for his side after
scoring two braces in five games in the space of three weeks to take his goal
tally to 6 in 10 appearances this season so far.
Reacting
on his Facebook and Twitter accounts, Steve Trawally expressed delight after
receiving the award and also thanked his club and teammates for their support.
“It’s
a huge pride and honour to be named the Arabian Gulf League Player of the Week
11 in the league. Thanks to my club and teammates for the support – the hard
work continues” he said.
