A one-day pre-conference for all national sporting associations and regional sports committees will kick-off shortly this morning at the Independence Stadium and Friendship Hotel in Bakau.
The pre-conference is part of the National Sports Council and Ministry of Youth and Sports' efforts to host the 2nd National Sports Conference at the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi from 8-9 July 2009.
The purpose of the National Sports Conference is to consult with stakeholders in our drive to put in place a new sports policy document and action plan for 2009-2018, and to also catalogue the way forward for the delivery of excellence in sports, through mass participation.
