The head coach of Bakau United, Kebba Touray, has expressed optimism that his team will clinch the 2009 Gamtel sponsored FA Cup championship, following his team's 1-0 victory over Real de Banjul in the second round of the FA Cup championship.
Coach Touray, who made these remarks in an exclusive interview with Pointsport shortly after his victory, said his boys are well determined and ready to fight for FA Cup championship title this time around.
He is also confident that he has the team that can upset any opponent in this year's FA Cup championship.
He added that Bakau United is set for their quarter-final clash with Tallinding United, slated for Saturday at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
He commended the management of the team for supporting the team, both in the league and the on-going FA Cup. He urged them to keep up the good job, and assured them that they will clinch the FA Cup.
He finally called on all Bakau United fans to come out in their large numbers to cheer the boys so that they would upset Tallinding and advance to the semis.
He revealed that the performance of his team was not up to expectation, as they had failed to capitalise on their few scoring chances.
