The stage is set for the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Club Cup competition as Gamtel FC face a crucial first-leg encounter when they host Horea FC of Guinea Conakry in the third round of the WAFU Club Cup championship at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Sunday.

The telecommunication giants, Gamtel, who crushed their Senegalese counterparts Niarri Tally to a famous penalty shootout win in the decisive second-leg tie in Banjul last month, are determined to take maximum advantage of the home game.

Coach Mustapha Manneh and his charges are setting their sights firmly on casting yet another surprise result following their recent success at the expense of their Senegalese outfit in the early stage of the competition back in July.

The ticket prices for Sunday’s encounter are pegged at D100 for VIP, D50 and D25 for covered and uncovered pavilions respectively.

Meanwhile, Pointsport understands Horea FC were due to arrive in Banjul at the time of going to press yesterday.
