Series of sporting events have been listed as part of the activities marking the 2nd annual Sports for Health initiative this weekend, where members of the judiciary, the legislature and the executive, as well as civil servants, politicians and the business community, will meet to compete.
After the opening of the Sports for Health initiative with a match-pass following delivering of speeches by guest speakers on Saturday 9 March, aerobics will be the first event to be held in 15 minutes followed by preliminaries in musical chair and football first round matches.
The Civil Service will take on the Executive; the National Assembly will face the Civil Service, and the Executive will also challenge the National Assembly all in group A.
In group B, the Business Community will play against the Politicians, the Judiciary will take on the Politicians and the Business Community is set to play against the Judiciary as part of the fixtures.
The semi-final and final will be played on Sunday between the winners and runners-up in both groups.
The athletics competition is also to take place on Sunday where the women will compete in the 50m run and 100m race by men, at 3:45pm.
There will also be a battle in tug of war as part of the annual competition.
At the end of the event, there will a presentation of trophies and certificates.
