According to Major Bojang, the bodies of the couple are currently at the mortuary at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital in
He added that the armed forces are working with other sister security services to ascertain the cause of the incident.
“Right now, investigations are ongoing and after the completion, the body of the late Mariama’s husband will be handed over to his family for burial, while Mariama will be accorded the usual military burial,” Major Bojang told this reporter.
The late Mariama Camara is a native of Essau village in the North Bank Region.
Her late husband is said to come from Latrikunda Sabiji.
