Sira Wally Ndow relieved as deputy minister

The Gambian leader, President Yahya Jammeh, has relieved Sira Wally Ndow-Njie of her cabinet appointment as deputy minister of Tourism and Culture, with immediate effect, the Office of the President announced in a news release aired over the GRTS yesterday.

Mrs Ndow-Njie was redeployed to the Ministry of Tourism after being removed as Minister of Petroleum and Energy in April this year. She was appointed minister of Petroleum in February 2015.
