Speaking at the ceremony, the Principal of the school, Mr. Sarjo Jobe, said the school was four years ago established by the government of The Gambia, with funding from the Taiwanese government, as part of their contributions towards the development of the country.
According to Mr. Jobe, the school has performed extremely well in last year's West African Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination. He expressed optimism that he and his staff will do all efforts to ensure that the school continues to produce outstanding results.
He applauded last year's grade 12 students of the school for their outstanding performance in last year's West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination.
He advised students to maintain discipline and tolerance and always stick to their books.
For his part, a senior teacher Sheriffo Sanneh, applauded last year's grade 12 for their brilliant performance in last year's West African Examination and then urged the outgoing grade 12 students to emulate their predecessors.
