Sheriff Mamina made this statement in an interview on the occasion marking the celebration of the tenth (l0th) anniversary of the accession to the throne by King Muhammad the 6th of the Kingdom of Morocco.
The founder of the above foundation, in this interview, also spoke of the numerous achievements made by the Moroccan monarch in all sectors since his enthronement as King in 1999 (23/7/99).
The Kingdom of Morocco, Sheriff Mamina said, has always played an active role in the area of peace and development, both at local and regional levels and in the international arena.
"The kingdom has contributed a lot in the area of infrastructural development in several places in the world", he said, adding that the Kingdom offered amnesty to 25, 000 prisoners during the celebration of the l0th anniversary of his enthronement.
King Muhammad the 6th, according to Sheriff Mamina, is the king of the poor and the deprived.
He said on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of King Muhammad the 6th of the Kingdom of Morocco, his foundation in The Gambia prays to Allah the Almighty to shower his blessings on the king, to give his majesty continuous good health, long life and happiness to Sheikh Sheriff Mamma Hydara.
Sheriff Mamina also expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty the King and the government and the entire people of the Kingdom of Morocco on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of the King.
He also expressed his wish for more progress and prosperity in the bilateral relations and cooperation that so happily exist between the Republic of the Gambia and the Kingdom of Morocco.
