Sheikh Njie clinch C.A. Draught Competition

Sheikh Njie has emerged winner of the 5th edition of C.A Jagne Memorial Draught competition after beating Sulayman Norman in a keenly contested final held at the Manneh Sillah Memorial Court in Banjul at the weekend.

As champion, Sheikh Njie walked away with a giant trophy, a cash prize of D2,500 and a certificate, whilst Sulayman Norman received D1,500 and a certificate as runner-up.

Sulayman Marr finished 3rd with a cash prize of D1, 000 and a certificate, while Alagie Malick Loum finished 4th position with a cash prize of D500.

Consolation prizes were given to four other participants for effectively taking part in the championship.

The final of the competition jointly sponsored by the Gambia Horticultural Enterprise and the Jagne family, was witnessed by the executive members of the Gambia National Draught Association.
