Serrekunda United have opened up a one-point lead on top of the 2010 -11 Gambia Football Association (GFA) National Division two league championship despite their 2-2 draw with the last year's relegated side Hawks in the week three fixtures of the country’s second tier league at the Banjul Mini-stadium on Sunday.
Second place Tallinding United dropped second place on the league standings after their 1-0 defeat to Latrikunda United at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
Elsewhere, Banjul United also beat Serrekunda East 2-1 in the other week three fixtures at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium the same day.
Serrekunda United now top the second division league table with 7 points in three games followed by Tallinding United who sit at 2nd position with 6 points in three games.
Latrikunda United are 3rd position with 6 points in three games while Banjul United settle at 5th position on the league table with 4 points in three games.
The Banjul club Hawks are 8th position with 2 points in the league table.
