Brikama United, who lost to Nyarri Tally 5-2 last year, came all out for revenge against the Senegalese premier league side, as it dominated the opening minutes of the game as well as creating some goal-scoring opportunities but fired all away.
The Senegalese premier league side, which was unable to establish themselves in the opening minutes of the game, opened the scores through captain Abdoulaye Seck in the 40th minute of the game from a free header, to give the visitors the lead.
Substitute Tala Mbaye could have extended the lead for Nyarri Tally in the 63rd minute of the game, but his brilliant effort was denied by Brikama United’s custodian Ousman Darboe aka Sandang.
Sidat N’daye sealed the victory for Nyarri Tally in the 73rd minute of the game from a clinical finish to earn the Dakar-based outfit a resounding win over the Sateyba boys.
The Sateyba boys responded quickly for an equalizer and created some goal-scoring opportunities, but could not break through the visitors defence line, and thus the game ended 2-0 in favour of Nyarri Tally.
