Seedy Njie is new Information Minister

President Yahya Jammeh has decided to relieve Sheriff Bojang, Minister of Information, “who has absconded”, of his cabinet appointment as from today with immediate effect, January 9th 2017.

He has been replaced by Hon. Seedy K. Njie as minister responsible for Information, Communication Infrastructure and National Assembly matters, GRTS TV announced last night quoting from a press release from the Office the President in Banjul.

Until his appointment as minister, Njie, a nominated member of the National Assembly, was the spokesperson and press officer of the APRC party of outgoing president Yahya Jammeh.
