Seedy Kinteh in CAF official delegation to Tunis

Former GFA boss Seedy MB Kinteh is among a 23-man delegation of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, heading to Tunis, Tunisia, the venue for the second leg of the finals of the African Champions League this weekend, reports gleaned from CAF media releases stated.

The delegation, headed by President Issa Hayatou, comprises members of the CAF inter-club committee, which looks after affairs dealing with club competitions, and of which Kinteh has been a member for several years now.

Mr Kinteh and some 20 other members will first attend a meeting the Inter-Club Committee, chaired by CAF President Issa Hayatou, beginning 16 November, before advancing to watch Egyptian club Al- Ahly play EAS Tunis in the last leg of the finals for the coveted champion’s league trophy, which also enables the winner to move to this year’s World Club Championship in Japan. This meeting would discuss all aspects of the concluding CAF champions’ league and Confederation Cup competitions, as well as matter’s dealing with the World Club Championship.

Seedy Kinteh, the former GFA president is also a member of FIFA’s development committee, which sits over matters dealing with developments in the world football governing body.
