Seaview FC are through to the final of the ongoing Africell sponsored Eda Carr Pre-season Tournament following their 3-2 victory over Hawks FC on a penalty shoot-out after the regular play of time ended 0-0 last Tuesday 5th January 2010, at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.
Both teams who were determined to advance to the final of the championship showed wonderful talents and created numerous scoring opportunities in front of each other's goal mouth, but failed to capitalise on their various goal scoring opportunities. Thus, the game ended 0-0 resulting in a post match penalty shoot-out, which ended 3-2 in favour of Seaview FC.
As of press time, Banjul FC were playing against Gamtel FC in the second semi-final of the championship.
The winner between Banjul FC against Gamtel FC will battle it out with Seaview FC in the final of the Africell sponsored Eda Carr Pre-season Tournament on Friday 8th January 2010, at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.
