Scorpions Leave for Algeria

The Scorpions, yesterday evening, left Banjul for Algeria via Dakar for the second leg match with the Fennecs of Algeria in the World and African Nations Cup qualifiers slated for Friday June 20th, 2008, in Bilida at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium.

According to the President of the Gambia Football Association, Seedy MB Kinteh, the twenty man team will leave Dakar at 3 am and arrive Algeria in the morning.

He said already, two advance teams are currently in Algeria and everything is in place awaiting the arrival of the players.

Seedy added that the Referees that will officiate the match will come from Gabon, Referee inspector from Egypt, while the match commissioner is Egyptian.

He said the official time for the match is 19:30 on Friday.
