Ebrima Sohna's five minute goal has helped earned the Scorpions an impressive draw against the African Nation cup hosts, Angola, yesterday in Portugal.

The nations cup host, that is using the friendly in order to prepare themselves much better ahead of the African Nations Cup to kick-off this weekend, equalised through Hull City forward and former Manchester United star, Manucho, when he took advantage of a terrible defending by the Gambian back line to put Angola back into the game with 30minutes on the clock.

Ebrima Sawaneh who plays his club football in the Belgian top flight football failed to capitalise on the scorpions best chance of the game mid way through the first period after a clever lay-off by Ousman Jallow.

The Gambia could have extended their lead through Ousman Jallow and Sanna Nyassi, but the duo superb scoring opportunities were not good enough to earn the Scorpions a happy moment.

Next for the Gambia is another friendly game when they face Turnisia in Wednesday's friendly in Tunisia.

Meanwhile, Armed Forces are the Super Cup champions after coming from behind to win 4-2 on penalties shut out.

Young Africans opened the scoring in the 53rd minute from Salif Ceesay header. Buba  Sama  levelled the scores to put Armed  Forces back into the game in the 74th minute.
