The Independent Electoral Commission will Monday 18th October conduct nominations for the upcoming by-elections in Sare Ngai ward in the Upper River Region, a statement from the Commission has said.
The nominations, to be held at the IEC Regional Office in Basse, will be followed by campaigns scheduled for the 20th to the 26th October 2010.
The Sare Ngai by-election, slated for 28th October 2010, follows a notification from the Basse Area Council of the vacant seat for the ward.
