The Academy boys Samger have registered their first victory in the 2010-11Gambia Football Association division (GFA) one league after a narrow 1-0 win over Interior at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium on Sunday.

Interior, on the other hand, fought back and created numerous goal-scoring chances, especially in the dying minute of the game but they failed to capitalise on them.
That win has moved Samger to 4 points out of their last four games, while Interior have collected 3 points.
The 2008-09 Gambia Football Association league champions Armed Forces also beat Bakau giant killers Steve Biko 1-0 in the other game in the week four fixtures at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium the same day.
Kabba Jobe's 84th minute strike was enough for Armed Forces to bag the maximum points and climbed to 2nd spot in the league standings with 8 points in four games, a single goal behind the current league leaders Brikama United, who have collected 8 points in four games.
Elsewhere, Wallidan defeated current league champions Gambia Ports Authority by the same score-line in an all-typical
Wallidan have now joined Bakau United on 3rd position on the league standings with 7 points in four games, while Gambia Ports Authority sit at 5th position on the league with 6 points in four games.
