Sacked senior police officers reinstated

Chief Superintendent Abdou Azziz Bojang former Personal Assistant to the ex- Inspector General of Police Ensa Badjie, and Chief Superintendent Abdoulie Sanyang, former acting Commissioner of Administration, were recently reinstated in the Gambia police force.

The two senior police officers were sacked in December 2009.

According to the police Public Relation Officer, Superintendent Sulayman Secka, Azziz Bojang is appointed as the officer commanding peacekeeping missions and posted at the Kairaba police station.

Abdoulie Sanyang is now the officer commanding Human Resources at police headquarters in Banjul.
