One Omar Gitteh was Wednesday arraigned before Magistrate Babucarr Secka of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with rash and negligent act, causing death.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D100,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.
The particulars of offence stated that the defendant, Omar Gitteh, on 4 April 2013, in Foni, in the West Coast Region, drove a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 8471H, in a rash and negligent manner, causing the death of Aja Drammeh, Mariama Gitteh, Abdourahman Gitteh and Karamo Ceesay.
The case was then adjourned till 25 May 2013.
