Despite an indifferent start to the season by the super cup champions, Samger are now enjoying a fantastic form recently after another hard-fought 1-1 draw with Real De Banjul in the week twenty fixtures at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Saturday. Goals from Samger's Lamin Samateh and Real's Dabai Gaye was enough for the two sides to share points in a titanic encounter in the 14th and 56th minutes respectively.
The academy boys are still maintaining the second position in the 12 club championship on 31 points with only 6 points separating them and the league leaders Armed Forces whom they denied all the maximum points when they beat them 2-1 in the week nineteen fixtures played at the Serekunda East Mini-stadium last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the rejuvenated Real De Banjul side are currently in the middle of the table with 24 points.
