Real De Banjul chase for leadership continues

Reigning league champions Real De Banjul will clash with Armed Forces in the week-fourteen fixtures of the 2012-2013 GFA division one league tomorrow, Saturday 4 May 2013, at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Real De Banjul are occupying 2nd position with 22 points in thirteen games and will fight for a win to keep their chance of defending their 2012 league crown.

Armed Forces are 5th with 17 points in thirteen games and will be hoping to bounce back after their 2-1 defeat to Hawks last week.

Brikama United will welcome Gamtel at the Brikama Mini Stadium. Brikama United are 3rd with 19 points in thirteen games five points behind league leader Steve Biko, who have bagged 24 points in thirteen games. 

Gamtel are 6th with 16 points in thirteen games and will be hoping to bounce back after losing two consecutive games.

Elsewhere, Young Africans will play against Hawks at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium, Young Africans are 2nd place from bottom with 13 points in thirteen games and are expecting a win to move away from relegation zone as well as keep their hopes staying in the premier tier next season, while Hawks are on mid-table with 16 points in thirteen outings.

Interior at 9th position with 14 points in thirteen games will meet bottom-placed Seaview with 11 points in thirteen games at the Brikama Mini Stadium on Sunday.

Samger at 8th position with 14 points in thirteen games will take on current league leaders Steve Biko with 24 points in thirteen games at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Bakau United at 4th with 19 points in thirteen games will battle it out with GPA at 10th position with 14 points in thirteen games at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
