The rape case involving one Lamin Jallow was recently adjourned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul before Justice Emmanuel Nkea.
It was adjourned on the grounds that the defence counsel was not in court.
At that juncture, the case was adjourned for the continuation of the prosecution’s case.
It would be recalled that the accused, Lamin Jallow, was alleged to have committed the offence of rape some time in 2012, at Brufut, in the Kombo North District of the West Coast Region.
The case had so far seen the testimonies of several prosecution witnesses and the tendering of exhibits.
