Malick Faal, a police officer attached to Brusubi Police Station, recently testified in the theft case involving one Karamo Jobe before Principal Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.

Officer Faal said he was attached to the charge office and on 16 November 2013, while he was on duty at the Brusubi Police Station, one Amadou Jobe came to the station and informed the police that his house was broken into.

He said he booked the complaint in the station diary and went to visit the scene with a fellow officer, but upon their arrival, they found that the door was broken.

“We also noticed that the accused person had access to enter the said house,” he said, adding that the type of items kept in that house was a timber which was moved from the house to the highway, 50 meters away from the house.

“We proceeded to another empty land where we discovered some timbers. We collected them and packed them together. I personally counted the timbers and we went back to the station, and I wrote my statement,” he added.
