Prosecution application granted

CPL 523 Jawo, the prosecuting officer recently applied for an adjournment to enable him call his witnesses in the criminal trial of one Adamou Savage, who is charged with attempting to commit felony before the Kanifing Magistrates' Court.

Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbacke granted the application and adjourned the case to a later date.

Meanwhile, the accused who pleaded not guilty to the charge was granted a court bail with the deposition of D500 or the provision of a Gambian surety.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused Adamou Savage, on 15th January 2010, in the hours of 18:00 to 19:00, at Serrekunda in the Kanifing Municipality attempted to commit felony to wit stole from the house of one Adama Faye.
