Principal's Trial Adjourned

The trial of Alimaneh Dukureh the principal of BilaliBordingSchool in Yundum could not proceed at the Brikama Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The accused and his defence counsel where said to be absent from court and therefore the presiding Magistrate Johnny Njie had to adjourned the case to the 13th October 2008.

It could be recalled that the accused Alimaneh Dukureh was alleged to have committed an act of gross indecent practise between male to male.

In a similar development the trial of Anthony Micheal Dobson and his accomplice Mustapha Drammeh could not also proceed on Wednesday at the Brikama Magistrates' Court as the accused persons defence counsel was not in court.

The 1st accused Anthony Micheal Dobson was charged with defilement of an under age girl and child pornography, while his accomplice Mustapha Drammeh was charged with procurement of a girl child for sex.

The case had since been adjourned to 13th October 2008.
