The
Independent electoral Commission will conduct by-elections to fill six vacant
seats in three Area Councils on Wednesday 24 May 2017.
Nomination
of candidates will be held on Wednesday 10 May 2017 at the IEC Kanifing,
Brikama and Janjanbureh Regional Offices from 8am to 4pm. Campaign will
commence on 13th and end on 22nd May 2017.
Consequently
Nomination Forms will be issued out to prospective candidates from 3rd May
2017.
These
forms are free of charge and can be collected from the Kanifing, Brikama and
Janjanbureh Regional Offices.
