The
President of the Islamic Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Sheikh Prof Alhaji
Dr Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh Babili Mansa, has awarded a Certificate of Merit to the
entire Sierra Leonean community in The Gambia, through the Sierra Leone
Cultural Dance Troupe, at an Award Ceremony held recently at State House.
According
to President Jammeh, the Certificate was awarded in recognition of “the Sierra
Leonean Community’s participation and outstanding contribution to the July 22nd
Revolution of the ruling APRC Government of the Islamic Republic of The
Gambia.”
The
Certificate of MERIT was signed by President Jammeh and Vice President Aja Dr
Isatou Njie-Saidy.
