His Excellency President Yahya Jammeh has once again demonstrated to the whole world that he is a man of peace, unity and tolerance, and also a leader that is always showing a great concern about the welfare of his people.
President Jammeh, who has just celebrated the 21st anniversary of the July 22nd Revolution, has once again demonstrated that his love for humanity and the welfare of Gambians is his top priority.
He has done a lot for the Gambian people and even outside of the Gambia, making him the champion of the Gambian people and beyond.
The July 22nd Revolution has brought lots of unimaginable developments and progress to the doorstep of every Gambian, irrespective of tribe, political affiliation and gender.
It is for the benefit of all Gambians, both in the country and in the Diaspora.
Over the years, President Jammeh has done his best for this country. He has built an ultra modern university for everyone to benefit from, and secondary schools and hospitals are also at the doorstep of every Gambian, thanks to the able leadership of President Jammeh.
On the other hand, we are now boasting about another fundamental project, which is the new ultra modern National Assembly building and one if not the best National Assembly building in the sub-region, which is a great achievement for The Gambia.
On Wednesday 22nd July 2015, President Jammeh announced that he was going to pardon prisoners that were convicted with various criminal offences and turn a new page.
This was the most welcomed news of the year 2015, and the most wonderful part of it was that it was done on a 22nd July anniversary, which is a very good step and we thank President Jammeh for taking a bold step to pardon those prisoners.
The families of the pardoned prisoners will be very happy to have their loved ones back with them, and this is a perfect national reconciliation for every Gambian and we hope and pray that peace to continue to prevail in The Gambia, and we ask all Gambians to put all hands on deck and develop our dear country for the common good and for the benefit of every Gambian.
The Gambia is our country and no one will develop it for us. We have to do it for ourselves, and be ready to answer to the call of President Jammeh at all times.
God has given him the responsibility to run the affairs of this country and we all have to accept that in good faith, and help to take the country to where we all want it to be, and that is to be among the best countries in the world.
Once again, we thank the President and pray for his good health, long life and prosperity for every Gambian.
