After a daylong sporting activities marking the 20th edition of May Day Sports, which was celebrated at the country's only stadium on Saturday, the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC), has released the results of the events which saw the Gambia Police Force emerged the champions with an impressive number of 101 points
The Gambia Police Force, which is a household name in the country's sports was closely followed by the Gambia Armed Forces, who managed to secure 96 points with only two points separating them and closest rivals Hands on Care, who sits in third position with 94 points.
One of the biggest highlights of the event was the newly introduced company, Qcell who made a remarkable performance and came out 4th with an impressive number of 82 points, which is the same points with National Road Authority, while Independence Electoral Commissioner (IEC)) occupied the 6th place on 78 points.
Another telecommunication company that proved outstanding was Africell, who managed to snatch a total of 78, which is the same points with (IEC), while Kombo Beach occupied the 8th place on 77 points.
