The Public Relations Officer of the Gambia Police Force, ASP Sulayman Secka, has confirmed to this paper that Mr. Edward Seckan, the Governor of North Bank Region, was last Thursday called for questioning at the Police Headquarters in Banjul.
However, he could not elaborate on why he was invited for questioning.
He only divulged that he was called for questioning about an issue and then released on the same day. He said he was told to be reporting as investigations progress.
"There is something under investigation," he concluded.
