Abdou Njie, the chairman of
the pressure group, Operation 3 Years Jotna, has been reportedly arrested
alongside his daughter at Serekunda Hospital, eye witnesses and police sources
confirmed to The Point.
He is currently detained by
Banjul police.
Meanwhile, Yankuba Darboe, a
senior member of 3 Years Jotna has also been arrested in connection with the
protest.
Meanwhile, information from
the Kanifing Hospital has confirmed that there was no reported case of death as
earlier reported by the online media.
