Pencha Bi FC are the Super Cup champions of Serrekunda West Sports Organisation (SWESO), following their 2-0 victory over Bundas on Sunday 18th July 2010, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium.
Pencha Bi FC's goals were scored by Abdoulie Jallow and Alieu Ceesay in the 48th and 69th minutes of the game, to be crowned the champions of the super cup final.
Pencha Bi FC, the winners went home with a trophy and a cash prize of D10, 000, while Bundas FC received a consolation prize of D5, 000.
Speaking to Abdoulie Ann, the team trainer and technical adviser for Pencha Bi FC ascribed their success to hard training and determination by his team and the technical bench.
He also stated that as the super cup champions any game in the league and knock-out championships would be a challenge to them, adding that they would give both championships a respectable performance.
Nasiru Drammeh, the Head Coach of Bundas FC expressed dismay at the defeat, as according to him, they had been prepared for the game. He noted that his boys did not live up to expectation during the course of the game.
According to him, they will now focus on the league so that they would be able to defend their title as the league champions.
