According to sources, Mr Dobson is charged with defilement of girls under the age of 16 years old, contrary to section 127 of the Criminal Code cap 10 volume III laws of The Gambia 1990.
He is also charged with child pornographic contrary to section 8(1) (A) of the Tourism Offences Act 2003.
His Gambian accomplice, Mustapha Drammeh, is charged with procurement of child for sex, contrary to section 7 (a) of the Tourism Offences Act 2003.

On 17thAugust 2008, the police at Yundum after a tip-off arrested Anthony Michael Dobson at his residence at Yarambamba for allegedly committing paedophilia with under-aged girls. He was arrested with his Gambian accomplice, Mustapha Drammeh, who was alleged to have procured girls for the suspect to engage in sex.
They are expected to appear at the Brikama Magistrates' Court soon.
